BIRTHDAY PARTY

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

 

PAYMENT

 

Upon scheduling a birthday party, we will need to collect a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the party. Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation. If the party is not cancelled 24 hours before your scheduled party time, you will be responsible for the remainder of the balance! If we are able, we would be more than happy to reschedule your child’s party for another day and time. We certainly understand that emergency situations do arise from time to time, all we ask is to please call if special arrangements need to be made.

 

Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express as payment for birthday parties. A $25.00 returned check fee will be applied for all returned checks. Post-dated checks will not be accepted for payment. If paying by check, please make it payable to Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro. Thank you!

 

FINAL COUNT

 

The final count must be in no later than one week before your scheduled party!

**Please remember there is a 10-person minimum for all birthday parties AND once the final count is given, it is final. The total amount to be paid upon completion of the party will be based on the final count given. The total amount due will not be changed if less people than your guarantee shows for the party. However, prices are subject to change should additional people attend*

 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

 

If it is necessary for the children to bring bags or any other personal belongings, please be sure to write their names in them! Also, please be advised that Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. The cubby areas in our waiting area are available to place your belongings in while enjoying the party!

 

PARKING

 

To ensure that none of our patrons are towed, please park in designated parking spots only! All others will be towed at owner’s expense without further warning. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Package A Includes:

• Two hours rental space for party

• Half hour before designated party time to decorate & set up

• Tables and chairs

• 1 slice of pizza per child (additional pizza can be purchased for an additional fee)

• Water and Apple Juice

• Entertainment and games

• Prizes for all games played

• Professional Dance Instruction in your choice of Ballet, Jazz or Hip-Hop

• Certificate for each child upon completion of the party

• Choice of Cupcakes or Birthday Cake

 

Package A:         $375.00 for 2 hours - up to 12 guests

                            $10.00 for each additional guest

Package B:         $500.00 for 2 hours and party theme supplies – up to 12 guests

                            $10.00 for each additional guest

 

 

**Goodie Bags available for each specific party for an additional

charge of $6.00 per child**

 

 

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Ballet – Known as the ABCs of dance. Ballet is the basis from which all dance forms are derived. Classical ballet technique and movements are instructed.

 

Jazz – Free form of movement and styling that consists of basic jazz techniques. Various leaps and turns are some of the many steps instructed.

 

Hip-Hop – A style of dance that has been developed over the years from a street style of movement. This is the dancing you see in various music videos today.

​

Pom - more commonly known as Cheer Dance. Pom Poms will be used.

Schedule of events:

 

11:30 am – Parents arrive for any additional set up or decorations

 

12:00 – 12:10 pm – Introduction

 

12:10 – 1:00 pm – Warm Up & Combination

 

1:00 – 1:20 pm – Food (Pizza, etc.)

 

1:20 – 1:45 pm – Games & Entertainment

 

1:45 – 2:00 pm – Cake & Goodbyes

 

2:00pm – Pick Up
