THANK YOU!!!! – Thank you for a wonderful first month of classes for our fourth season as a Dance Family! Your trust in me and my faculty with your dancers means the world and I promise not to disappoint! I cannot wait for you & your families to see the tremendous growth at our end of the year recital!
Bring A Friend Week – EDA will be hosting Bring a Friend Week from Monday, October 7th – Saturday, October 12th. Each dancer who is registered with EDA can bring one friend per class to participate with them during these dates! The “friend” should not be a registered dancer with EDA and should be someone who does not attend classes weekly. A flyer with more information was sent out via email. If you did not receive this email, please let me know so I can resend it.
Pink Week – Breast Cancer Awareness is something near and dear to me and my family as that is what I lost my grandmother to. As you all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I would like to host a week of everything Pink! Monday, October 14th – Saturday, October 19th, EDA will be hosting Pink Week! We will have a table set up outside the studio (weather permitting, inside if needed) with various raffles and donation opportunities such as Pink Hair Extensions for $15.00, Pink Ribbons in exchange for a donation, “pink” bake sale, a 50/50 raffle & other raffle items with all proceeds being donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!! Cash, check, Venmo or Zelle only please.
Halloween Week – All dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to dance beginning Thursday, October 24th – Wednesday, October 30th! Please be sure that it is something your dancer can move in without too much restriction. It is still necessary for your dancer to wear their proper dance shoes to class as well! Pictures will be taken, and treats will be handed out! We can’t wait to see your costumes!!
Trunk Or Treat – On Saturday, October 26th, we will be hosting our third annual Trunk or Treat from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in our side parking lot. Anyone who would like to participate and decorate your car, please let me know so I can keep a log of how many cars we will have. If participating, please be sure to keep in mind the allergies that can be present amongst our dancers and their siblings. I would love to have as many people participate as possible. You do not have to decorate your trunk to participate!! We would love to see all our dancers at our Trunk or Treat for a day of trick or treating, fun, games, costumes, pizza, cupcakes & prizes. Also, we are looking for vendors for this event! There is NO vendor fee to participate. I just ask that you decorate your trunk with candy to pass out. Hand out flyers, set up demonstrations or sell your products! Thank you in advance!

All students must have their agreement signed in order to attend classes.
Recital Dates – OUR RECITAL DATES HAVE BEEN BOOKED! This season, our 6th Annual Recital will be held at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. Our dress rehearsal is schedule for Friday, June 6th (time TBA) and our recital is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th (time TBA). Please mark your calendars!
Costume Deposits – Recital time is a great time for the students to show off all their hard work throughout the year. At Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro, we try to make our recital a stress-free process by giving step-by-step instructions along the way. We are beginning the first step of our recital preparations and require a $50.00 deposit per costume (which will be applied towards the total purchase price) along with a signed consent form by November 15th in order to process your child’s costume order. All accounts with 4 or more classes will have a reduced price of a $25.00 deposit per costume. We also give you until February 1st to make payments towards your balance or you can pay your balance in full. All accounts will receive a costume agreement via email. Please print, sign and return your agreement with your deposit by November 15th. Deposits cannot be accepted without your signed agreement. All students will be measured the week of December 9th. To ensure the most accurate measurement, please have all students in tight fitting clothing (leotard and tights preferred). We do add an extra ½” when measuring to all for growth throughout the months leading up to the recital. If your child is unable to attend class that week, please notify Miss Carla so that measurements can be taken at an earlier/later date. If you do not receive your costume deposit agreement or have any further recital questions, please see Miss Carla. All dancers must have a signed agreement and deposit to be ordered a costume. All dancers must be measured before we leave for Winter Break as that is when our costumes are ordered.
Parking – Parents, please be aware when you are parking your cars. Please be sure to only take up one parking spot and not park in between two spots. This is just to ensure that all our dance families as well as those who are patrons of the other businesses can park also.
Additional Classes – We have several classes still available if anyone is interested in trying an additional class. Multiple class and sibling discounts are offered! See Miss Carla for details!
Pick Up & Drop Off – We ask that you please be prompt when picking up your child from class and that you drop your children off no earlier than 5 minutes before their scheduled class time. We understand that uncontrollable circumstances do arise however we ask that you please call the studio to let us know if you are going to be late or must drop off early. Dancers should remain inside the studio to wait for parents and not in the parking lot. Thank you!
